My Teaching Philosophy Teaching has always been my passion. As an early childhood educator, I provide a foundation for learning. I am committed to my profession and to the children I teach. I am shaping young minds and creating a pathway for their future education. I strive to make learning fun for my students by incorporating play, music, and movement in activities and lessons. I promote the importance of friendship and tolerance. I feel these are very important social skills to instill in children at a young age. I ensure the well - being of the children in my care and provide a developmentally appropriate learning environ-ment that meets the needs of all children. I find that one of the best ways to teach children is through hands on activities. Children are more likely to remember what they learn when they are engaged in lessons. I plan activities that allow children the freedom to explore, discover and learn. The physical environment of the classroom is important for promoting learn-ing. My classroom is well organized and provides enough space for children to move freely. A well - organized classroom allows children to focus and engage.   Teaching is truly my passion. I have, and will continue to provide my students with a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable to learn and grow, and most im-portantly, have fun. - Jenna Murtagh Our Program   Open:    January to December  Monday–   Friday  7:00am - 5:00pm  Full Time Program   Enrolment informaon  Children ages 3 to 6    All students must be up to date on required immunizaons.    Students must be toilet   trained   NYS License # 695457     Lile Owl Preschool does not discriminate against race, cultural heritage, naonal srcin,   marital status, religion, polical beliefs, disability, or sexual orientaon.
